The Sistore got its start unofficially in 2022 when the oldest Aguirre sisters, Bella, Lili, and Gabi, were fundraising for summer youth camp in Hawaii. Each girl has a unique style and talent and contribute something different to the shop. They began to create greeting cards and bracelets to sell to friends and family to get funds for camp, but everyone who bought said that they should start a business selling their creative handmade products all year long! In 2023 bookmarks were added to their small in person pop-up shops, as well as key chains and small paintings. 2024 was the beginning of the official website where people beyond Hawaii could more easily order and get items shipped.

The Aguirre sisters are continually creating and coming up with new ideas. Soon the Sistore will add hand-painted phone case backgrounds, more greeting cards, and collaborated hand lettered prints!
